UPS Technology is a provider of comprehensive backup systems for uninterrupted power supply (UPS). Its current offering includes UPS, direct current sources, motor generators, power banks, batteries, and large energy centres. The company maintains a stable position in the Czech power backup market and provides support and maintenance services through its highly qualified workforce.

In March 2024, Stratum and ADAX funds joined forces to acquire UPS Technology, with both funds holding equal ownership stakes. The new management team also co-invested to become minority shareholders, aligning their interests with the company’s long-term growth.

The investors’ strategy is to develop the potential of an established niche-market company by strengthening its position in the Czech, Polish, and Slovak markets and expanding into new markets, leveraging strong, long-standing relationships and competitive pricing versus its competitors.
